We work closely with the State Government to advocate for and formulate policies that create a conducive business environment for SMEs. These policies are designed to stimulate economic growth through job creation, youth empowerment, and women empowerment.

Annual Plans
At EBSMEDA, our one-year goal is to fuel a transformative wave across Ebonyi's SME sector, creating a vibrant, supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurs. Through financing, training, and streamlined processes, we aim to make Ebonyi state a shining example of entrepreneurial success in Nigeria.
Provide capital accessible to SMEs in Ebonyi State on single-digit loans through partnerships with local and international financial institutions, and the facilitation of well-priced loans from development finance institutions.
Implement at least 10 new seminars, workshops, and training sessions focused on capacity building, business management, and competitiveness. Reach at least 50% of SMEs in Ebonyi State with these services.
Develop and launch at least 2 new initiatives aimed at expanding market access for SMEs in the State. Aim to engage at least 20% of SMEs in these initiatives by the end of the first year.
Establish at least 10 formal partnerships between SMEs and larger businesses for mentoring and networking opportunities.
Successfully advocate for the introduction or amendment of at least 5 state policies that positively impact the SME landscape in Ebonyi State.
Identify and initiate the development of at least 2 new SME clusters in the State, transforming them into vibrant business hubs with necessary infrastructure.
Secure venture capital funding for at least 15 high-growth potential businesses in the SME sector.
Track, verify, simplify and publicize at least 50 entrepreneurial opportunities and programmes beneficial to SMEs in the State.
Successfully launch the SME "One Stop Shop" initiative and engage at least 30% of SMEs in the State in the first year, starting with a trade fair.
Identify and implement solutions to at least 5 major bureaucratic constraints hindering SMEs in the State, thereby improving the ease of doing business.
